Get Happ
Happ is a free app by another developer. Until our own app is released on a platform, Happ is the app we recommend there.
Connect
- Install Happ from the links above.
- Sign in to your Tayra account, open Devices and choose Connect a device.
- Choose your system, then Happ, and tap Create the link.
- On the same device, tap Open in Happ. On another device, scan the QR code with Happ. You can also copy the link, then in Happ tap + and add it from the clipboard.
- In Happ, choose a line in the list and connect.
The link is shown only once, when it is created: it is the key to your subscription, and anyone with it connects as you. If you lose it, issue a new link for this device in Devices: the old one stops working at once.
The list in Happ
- ⚡ Auto — fastest is the first line. Happ checks every server and protocol of your subscription about every 5 minutes and sends new connections through the fastest one that answers. The server and the exit country can change on their own, so websites may see another address.
- A line for each city keeps the exit in that city. Choose one if you need the same country all the time.
- Lines for each protocol appear if you choose so in the device settings: Server list in the app.
- Places are sorted by distance from you, the nearest first. You can turn this off for the link in the device settings: Nearest place first.
When you change the place of this device in your account, Happ gets the new servers at the next subscription update.
Happ shows the server settings of your subscription: we do not hide them.
Keep traffic inside the VPN
On Android, turn on Always-on VPN and Block connections without VPN for Happ in the system VPN settings: if the VPN drops, apps lose the connection instead of going online without it. On iPhone and iPad this is done by the system’s on-demand VPN rules.
If it does not connect
- Update Happ: version 4.7.1 or newer also gets the Hysteria2 protocol.
- Update the subscription in Happ and try another city line.
- Write to support: we check other protocols and servers in your network and tell you what to change.
